how can i add mode of payment to my account?

My iPhone 6s is not working with the apps available and the apps are not being activated properly. So, I wanted to pay for icloud storage and update the apps. How can I add mode of payment by my credit card to the account and buy more storage space from iCloud?

See this on how to add a payment method to your Apple id

Add a payment method on your iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app.
Tap your name.
Tap Media & Purchases, then tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
Tap Manage Payments.
Tap Add Payment Method.

6. Enter the payment method details, then tap Done.
