Noticed the Now Playing screen is no longer coming up on the watch when playing music from the iPhone.
Is it a bug or what happened?
It was such an important feature for me, I could control the music right from my wrist...
Why would apple kill that, makes no sense?
It works if I manually open the Now Playing app, but after a while the watch face takes over anyways... So annoying

Same here. I guess it’s a bug from the latest OS update. I dare to say that now playing worked on watchOS 10.0. But I could be wrong.
Usually restarting watch and phone resolved it. But not this time.
Just wait for a new watchOS version. Some complications like the weather app don’t work properly on the always on display either.
Such a bad feeling when an update manages to somehow break something that worked so well just before.....
Definitely not a good look.
I hope Apple addresses the issue soon.
Lately I started growing more anxious when updating my Apple stuff....seems like the software quality has severely decreased somewhere after Covid...just sad and dissapointing :(
