Is there a limit to how many podcasts you can follow?

Apple Podcasts will not follow a show when I click to follow anymore. I follow a lot of shows and I’m wondering if there is a limit?

I've been having the same issue. No matter if I try to follow from my iPhone or on Desktop. I just get an error. It would be nice if there was an answer for this.
