Dual Bluetooth access for Cochlear Implant users
Hi, I am a hearing impaired and I use the Cochlear N8 sound processor. I am a Director of Product Development and use my iPhone for every single phone call because it has the best Bluetooth and streaming connectivity from iPhone to Cochlear sound processors (N7 or N8). My only issue with it is I am constantly finding that I need to be handsfree and would love to be able to use AirPods' amazing microphone technology to pick-up my voice/talking while still streaming Audio directly to my Cochlear (or hearing device) as we cannot use AirPods' audio speakers to hear with and hearing devices don't have microphones for phone calls. I believe allowing dual Bluetooth connectivity to work for hearing devices such as Cochlear Sound Processors would allow busy hearing impaired business person such as myself or even for everyday people eliminate this type of limitation with their disability and truly be able to go handsfree like every other AirPod user in the world.
