I have the latest iPhone is it was supposed to update safari and did not. How can I update safari

DMV says upgrade to latest version of safari, safari says update my iPhone to latest version of iOS , I did that only it did not update safari. I have a dead line from dmv someone please help

If you have the current iOS version 17.0.2 you also have the latest version of Safari (even if the DMV thinks otherwise).
