Live sports scores no longer appear in dynamic island or lock screen on iPhone 15 Pro

I received my iPhone15 Pro last week but so far I have not been able to get live sports scores to show up in the dynamic island or on the lock screen. In the past I have been able to do this by going to the TV app, finding the game I want under "watch live sports" and then hitting the "check mark" at the top of the screen ... nothing happens

Things I have tried:

• Toggled "Allow Live Activities" in Settings -> TV -> Live Activities
• Toggled "Sync My Sports" in Settings -> News
• Toggled "Live Activities" in Settings -> Face ID & Passcode
• Removed & re-added teams to "Following" under "Sports" in the News App
• Fully powered off the phone
