Apple Watch Not Showing Notifications

I have updated my Apple Watch to IOS 10. Since then, I have not been able to get any visual notification on my watch for Facebook, Instagram, X and others. I feel the haptic on my wrist, but nothing else. I have turned off and on both my watch and phone. I have also made sure all the apps on my phone have been updated

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to correct it?

Hello Bearspaw Hack,

We would like to see how we can help you with your notifications not working as expected. Which specific watchOS and iOS are you running on your connected devices? Go to Settings > General > About for the version. If you swich the notifications off for those apps and then switch them back on, does the issue persist? Follow the steps in this link to change your Notifications: Notifications on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

"Customize your Apple Watch notification settings

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the My Watch tab.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap an app to see its options. To use the same notification settings on apps that appear on both your Apple Watch and iPhone, tap Mirror my iPhone. Some apps allow you to customize your notifications. Tap Custom, then choose an option:
    • Allow Notifications: Notifications appear in Notification Center and your Apple Watch alerts you.
    • Send to Notification Center: Notifications are sent directly to Notification Center without your Apple Watch alerting you.
    • Notifications Off: The app sends no notifications.

4.If you customize an app's notifications, you can also group notifications from that app. Tap Notification grouping, then choose an option: Off, Automatically, or By App."

Cheers!
