Was sold an Apple Watch with activation lock on it how do I remove it

Unless you have the account information that set the lock, the original receipt from Apple, or can demonstrate legal inheritance from a deceased owner, you cannot remove the lock; recycle the device. Activation Lock is designed to prevent anyone else from using an Apple Watch if it's ever lost or stolen.

Activation Lock is an anti-theft feature that cannot be bypassed. Only the previous owner can remove the lock by using their Apple ID & password. Apple will not help you find the previous owner. I’ve had this Apple Watch Series 3 I got it on marketplace then the man that sold it too me took everything off of marketplace and I can’t even get on my watch because of this activation lock so I got robbed please someone help me

The prior owner needs to remove the lock. You’ve been scammed. You can report it to your local police so that they can inform others of the scam.

You must be the owner of the device. 

Proof of ownership documentation is required. Proof of ownership must include the product serial number, IMEI or MEID.<<

Generally, this will require the original receipt with serial number and IMEI. Receipt must be from Apple or an Apple Authorized Retailer.

As you said, you've been robbed. Apple isn't the police, and neither are we.
