iOS device (iPad, iPhone) sends a meeting invitation instead of acceptance message

Hello all,

I am trying to solve the following problem:

  • A sender sends a meeting invitation from the MS Outlook client (O365)
  • An invitee with iOS mail client (two devices – iPhone, iPad) accepts it
  • Instead of acceptance message to the organizer, a meeting invitation is generation to all the original invitees. However, in the body of the generated invitation it says “Accepted”
  • If the user with an iOS device chooses to reject the meeting invitation, a meeting cancellation message is generated to the all original invitees.
  • In both cases however, in the message generated by an iOS device there is an error message that the original meeting cannot be found.

Have you encountered something similar? If yes, is there anything that can by done?

Thank you,

Juraj

Amazing, just tried Apple support and they 'demand' that we reproduce the issue even thou it's documented in so many threads. "They will not look at dicussions.apple.com on issues". They do not have access to unpublished bug fixes or known bugs. I guess we just repeately send calendar invite to 150+ internal external business users until everyone block us? Without it, you can't talk to any engineers. That's how Apple support works!
