How do I stop subscriptions paid with Apple Pay

I’ve subscribed to a service difficult to unsubscribe to. How can I stop them from renewing my subscription when no longer wanted?

You will need to contact the service or website you subscribed to directly and cancel the subscription with them.

Apple Pay is just a payment conduit, it has no way of managing any subscriptions directly.

Thanks but I’ve heard from others that they are not cooperative, so I may just need to pull my credit cards from Apple Pay. I erroneously thought I could control access thru Apple support subscription management but it doesn’t show there. My bad!

I'd try to cancel through them before pulling the card from Apple Pay. Disabling payment could cause more issues than it solves. They are bound to have some way to cancel the subscription on their website.

Only subscriptions to App Store apps are manageable on your Apple ID.
