my notes disappeared after the update to ios 17 , they’re not in recent deleted or icloud D: what did you do apple?
i only noticed today, the system must backed up without my notes cuz for some reason it was “off” in settings and i’m sure it was on before ( i did use the backup to restore weeks ago).

after installing ios 17 my iphone notes (Change) simply disappeared. They are not in the trash, not in recently deleted. Just disappeared. The gmail related notes are still there. Can anyone help. Tnx

Hey there! Thank you for asking the community.
I'm sorry to hear that your notes are not in your phone. If I may ask, what happens if you turn the "Notes" toggle back on in Settings > "Your Name" > iCloud?
The reason I ask is that there's a fairly good chance that your notes are still synced to your iCloud, just not your phone. Additionally, you can verify that your notes are syncing by logging into your AppleID at www.iCloud.com.

Recovering Lost Notes:
If you have lost the notes, then here is what to try...
A. Start Here: If you're Missing Notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
B. Restore from a Backup:
Did your ever back up your iPhone with these installed? If so, back up you could back up your iPhone, and then restore it from the backup.
C.Report this to Apple:
Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this issue, if you don't report it to them.

check the icloud was the first thing i did after found my notes empty (=_=)
sadly it had some old notes from 2021, but none from this year, what was weird, another weird thing is that the note’s button in settings for sync to icloud was “off” u_o it was on before the update , it worked when i restored my phone after being changing to factory configurations and when i entered the site of icloud they were there, so i totally sure they were on icloud
my theory is that with the last update (17) some bug must deleted them, idk, and when the backup after this update happened it saved without the note @_@ idk

i think i won’t count so much with icloud to save thing i care (T__T)
So did mine and I can’t find it. it’s not in the cloud I did back up everything before the update, and it’s completely gone so upset!

Feel foolish asking sure im missing something here, but how does one go about printing or getting all their notes in pdf either running pages or in groups of 100 ,was able to do on apple iPhone 3,4
