Why was weekly total distance removed on watch IOS 10?
I used to be able to track my weekly total distance (walking + running). IOS 10 removed. Disappointed ☹️

Bitterly disappointed, and frankly, confounded as to why Apple would remove such a feature. The weekly distance meter was the one thing that incentivised me to walk the long distances I’ve been walking for years now as it made me compete with myself to outdo previous weeks’ walks, and ever since WatchOS 10, I’ve gained a lot of weight as I have no way of knowing how far I’ve walked that week so have just given up. It just doesn’t make sense that Apple would do this. I’ve asked for it to be re-added multiple times but several updates later, it’s still not there.
I ask that everyone else who is missing this feature, please use the Apple feature request form in the hopes they bring it back. And seriously, Apple… WHY?

I completely agree …. Why fix something that isn’t broke. This is the number that made me strive for more. Who cares about your dumb graphs. May get a different watch that serves my needs.
