Proximity sensor doesn’t turn off on iPhone 14 and iPhone 15

Same issue here on iPhone 15 pro and pro max.

Urges a fix!

Unbeliavable, this issue has been around one year ago and still no fix… whats happening to apple? Gonna get a samsung…

me too same issue not only with whatsapp but also with the calling

and this is not an issue with the third-party app but I think with the software itself

I tried all of these steps and no luck. I had an iPhone 12 Pro before running iOS 17 and it was not an issue, but I bought a new iPhone 15 Pro and transferred my data over and ever since then, the proximity sensor is not working properly.
