Calendar Search iOS17

I had the same problem with calendar entries but it affected only the connected gmail calendars. Tried various things like a hard restart, installing the calendar app but that did not solve the issue.

Eventually I could solve it as following. ATTENTION: to avoid any data loss, ensure that calendar is synchronized via iCloud!

1. go to settings > calendar > accounts
2. deactivate the calendar from the affected account
3. confirm deleting the calendar (ATTENTION: ensure backup via iCloud to avoid data loss)
4. activate the calendar again

Your solution did not work for me.

I can see an event in my calendar, edit it to select the entire title, save (or cancel for no changes).

Then, when I search by pasting the full event title, search finds no results even when I am looking at the event in my calendar.
