Has anyone been successful connecting Oticon OPN S1 hearing aids (MFI) to a MacMini Pro after installing Sonoma?

My OPN S1 HAs do not show up as "Available Devices". I followed the instructions online and turned off BlueTooth on my iPhone, cycled my HAs but no connection. The same HAs connect perfectly to my iPhone "Accessibility>Hearing Devices" .

Here is the list of MFI hearing devices. While it isn’t explicitly clear, I’ve read that only those devices marked with an asterisk are compatible with MacOS Sonoma on M1 Pro or Max Macs and all M2s. Oticon OPN S1 are not bi-directional and do not appear to be supported. If true, this is very disappointing as this is a significant feature for those of us with impaired hearing.

At the bottom of that list on Apple Support is exactly what you said:

"MFi hearing devices with an asterisk (*) in the list above use bidirectional streaming, which enables you to talk hands-free, as well as use the device with a Mac. Bidirectional streaming requires a more recent Apple device and operating system."

So I'm out of luck. Planning to get new hearing aids in 2024 anyway so will keep this in mind.
