iPhone iOS 17 battery indicator

So the new feature that came out in iOS 16 with the battery percentage indicator is great. However, with iOS 17, they changed it slightly so that it isn’t very readable on my wallpaper. It is a mostly white background and it is white by the indicator. The problem is that the colour now blends with the background very much so that I can’t read it when the battery is bellow around 60% as it used to be grey around the second digit but it is now the same colour as my background. As you can see I circled it below. Please fix it. For now I’ll just have to manually swipe down or just change the battery indicator to not have the numbers.
