Call logs are getting synced in 2 different number iPhones using same Apple ID.

Contact syncing in two apple devices using same apple Id does make sense.

But this really Does Not Make Any Sense why the call logs should sync, when the phone numbers are different.

I use multiple phones in my family using same apple ID (do not want to use multiple IDs for apparent reasons) and contacts does sync, which is actually convenient when one of us want to contact other's office contact in case of emergencies. But call logs syncing is a huge problem.

When I talk to my acquaintance, after few mins the call log shows up in everyone's device call logs. This is pathetic.

One fine day Apple would start syncing my WhatsApp chat, then each device's apps as well. Imagine a day when my children would have Outlook and Zoom in their phone and I would have CandyCrush in my phone.

Apple team please allow highly customized syncing among multiple iOS devices using same apple ID. Definitely call logs syncing is Not Right.

Apple ID accounts hold individual, personal information. These accounts should not be used by multiple users. The accounts don’t function like that. There are better ways to supervise or share, if needed or wanted.

Apple IDs are separate from the phone numbers of the cellular devices. You’re setting something up that works differently than you anticipate.
