Homepod does not remember radio station from one day to the next

I use a Homepod mini daily to play a local FM station's stream (music and news). Now every day, when I turn it on it starts playing "all songs" from my music library. It should start again from the previous sound source (the radio station), right?

I believe this new behavior started around the update to IOS 17 and Homepod OS 17.

It's very annoying to have to tell Siri to play my radio station EVERY DAY!

Any advice or solutions?

Same behaviour for me. Usually I start a playlist from my phone and hand it over to the HomePod. As soon as i stop the playback on the HomePod and want to continue some time later it completely forgot where it stopped and Siri begins to play some random music "just for me".

This is super annoying and I can confirm this started with iOS17 / Hompod OS 17.

Same here. It is absolutely annoying also for me. I used to play some playlist, or simply random music from my Homepods at home. Eventhough that I stop the music, and I say "play", the Homepods start a new session, offering to me a new playlist created for me.

I can confirm as well that this started since iOS 17 or Homepod OS 17. I really hope a solution as soon as possible.

It's working for me again now that my Homepod mini is running HomePod Software Version 17.1, restarting the stream on "Play" as it had prior to Version 17.0.
