imported RAW image from Canon R7 not showing?

iPhone 15 Pro Max and iOS 17.0.2 is not displaying the image from RAW images that are importing from a Canon R7, only a gray square is shown.

Tapping info shows image data as usual (lens, aperture, ISO, etc).

Tapping EDIT temporarily shows the image, tapping DONE goes back to grayed out square. Importing Canon RAW files into other apps has similar issues.

All my previous iPhones have had no trouble and those images are visible. Hoping there’s an update as I just shot 2 days worth of an event on my Canon camera and now can’t edit on my phone as I usually do.
