Keyboard shortcut to translate selected text on Mac

Hello there,

Is there a keyboard shortcut to translate selected text on Mac ?

if Not, How can we assign a keyboard shortcut to do this task ? or are there any work arounds ?

There is no way to create a normal shortcut because it modifies the text of the command to include what is selected. I don't know if you can use UI scripting to pick the translate command by position, but that would seem to be the only way.


You can create a Shortcut Quick Action that takes in Text, translates it, and shows the result.
