How can I fix the low volume issue on my iPhone 15 Pro connected to Bluetooth stereo?

I have been a Samsung user for many years. I was listening to music or watching TV on my Samsung and connected to a Bluetooth stereo. The volume is always been amazing. I have just purchased the new iPhone 15 Pro and connected it to the same stereo and the volume is very low. Is there anyway that I can fix this? I have turned off the loud noise option. The Bluetooth setting is on stereo. The EQ is set to late night, but there has been no change to the volume is.

Hey there Japoole76,

While there may be a setting on your Bluetooth speakers that'll allow you to have higher volume(such as setting it to something else that isn't 'late night'), we'd like to help by ruling out some basics. We also want to learn more about what's happening:

  1. As the Bluetooth speaker still sounds loud when paired with other devices, we wanted to ask if you were able to test a different Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, like a pair of Bluetooth headphones?
  2. We see you have iOS 17 installed, but the latest version is iOS 17.0.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then update: Update your iPhone or iPad
  3. Any issues playing sound from the built-in speaker on your iPhone?

Cheers!

i had same low, or lower, volume issues with Bluetooth connected speakers. After reading all the posted responses, I sorta combined them and played around. This is what worked for me. I searched “control center” on iPhone, then tapped on “customize settings” (or something similar, but it was the only one of the 3 options with “customize”. Then the ear icon w/ heading saying “Background Sounds”, under that was a slider for “Volume with media”, I slid it to max, obviously, lol. I connected with my Marshall Bluetooth speaker and it was fixed, much louder. Hope this helps.
