Lost firmware lock and cannot unlock my macbook air

When firing up my macbook air its shows a locked padlock requiring a password and. Have lost or never deliberately locked the laptop

See this if you have lost your mac's firmware password



If you can't remember your firmware password, schedule an in-person service appointment with an Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider. Bring your Mac to the appointment, and bring your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.
