namedrop

When I want to use namedrop, a message appears on the screen saying "Should I get contact information, set my card in contacts settings to share your contact information", but I have already set up my card in contacts settings, but my view does not appear during namedrop. I would be glad if you could help me. I installed the latest update (17.0.1).

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We want help troubleshoot this NameDrop issue you're experiencing. Let's try the following steps below to further isolate this issue you're experiencing:


1.) Restart both affected devices that are trying to use NameDrop: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

2.) Make sure both devices are fully updated: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

3.) Double check that you're properly following the steps on how to use NameDrop: Use NameDrop on iPhone to share your contact info - Apple Support

4.) If these steps don't help, delete "My Card" and create a new card/poster.
