I am trying to back up my phone and once I go to settings etc. etc. and go to iCloud back up it says back up this phone I try to slide onto the on position, but it immediately goes back to the off position.

Perhaps use a lightning cable & PC computer, a backup
may be completed using iTunes for Windows..? Or Mac.
