clear all messages. on Mac OS, how do I clear all conversations in messages?

I have a large quantity of messages (200) that need to be deleted. how can I delete all at once (not having to delete each individually)

Deleting multiple conversations simultaneously requires macOS "Ventura" or later. Refer to Delete messages and conversations in Messages on Mac - Apple Support.
