If you wanted to just see how much charge is left on your watch, Idris Seabright told you how.


On some watch faces, such as the Modular face which I use, you can put the charge complication on the watch face and it is always available when you glance at your watch.



If by life, you want to see the health of your watch's battery, you open the Settings app on the watch. Swipe down to Battery and tap, then swipe down and tap Battery Health. Swipe down and you will find the maximum charge that your watch's battery can now hold. The lower the number, the less healthy your battery is.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
