Hi florian lica,

This might be expected behavior as it shows in Use Siri on all your Apple devices:

*Siri availability and features vary by language, and country and region. Learn which Siri features are supported in your country or region on iOSiPadOSmacOSwatchOS, and tvOS. Just say Siri is available in United States, Australia, Canada, and United Kingdom.

In this HomePod User Guide article on Control audio with Siri on HomePod it shows here that you need to say "Hey Siri" when working with Siri on HomePods.

Take care.

Not True.

Homepod is set to use "Hey Siri" by default, but you can choose to change this to just use "Siri" instead if you want.

Go to Homekit

Select the Homepod with long press to access menu

Select Accessory Settings

Scroll down to Siri section

First option should give you 'Listen for "Siri" or "Hey Siri"

Select this option to change the option you want.
