Admin password

So I bought a computer from a friend a while back. Used it for word and google. Well now I am trying to download a program and it says I can not as I am not the admin. I don’t know the admin password. I’ve tried to reset and hood cmd + r and it bring me to the log in screen, not the utilities

You need to ask your friend about admin password or requires your friend to do following precesses.
