why won’t does my update keep failing
I’m trying to update my phone to IOS 16.6.1 so i can do the newest update. after waiting for my phone to start the update it keeps saying “update failed”

Update Using a Computer:
Have a Computer Handy? If so, try using a computer to update. Go here: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. If any updates are available, they will install, sure enough. Note that only the latest-compatible update will install. So, if it can go to iOS17, then it will install that, and not iOS16.6.1.
