open safari in startpage

Hi I have a question I will try to explain and ask as best I can, is it possible to enable startpage as default when operating up safari and not a search engine. I know you can enable startpage when opening a new tab. I already use it that way. But how can I open as first tab when opening up Safari instead google or whatever search engine people might use. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out here ?

go into Safari Settings > General

then set "Safari opens with:" to "A new window"

and then set "New windows open with:" to "Start Page"

if you want, you can also set "New tabs open with:" to "Start Page"
