HomePod not instslling

I’m using my iPhone 11 Pro Max, updated to 16.3. I have plugged in my HomePod and it communicated with me with a four number confirmation. The white light on the HomePod is still pulsing. My Home application. Reads Loading and Installing but it has not finished even after I unplugged it. How do I get it to install and start playing music??

White pulsing light

If a continuous white light pulses on the top of your HomePod or HomePod mini, then your HomePod speaker is ready for setup.

Unlock your iPhone or iPad and hold it next to your HomePod speaker to continue setup.


Set up HomePod or HomePod mini - Apple Support

Do not unplug it while it’s being set up. Make sure your iPhone hasn’t locked
