iPhone 15 Charging - Compatibility with existing charging hardware?

Awaiting delivery of new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 pro. Understand that to take advantage of new fast charging tech, new usb c plugs will be needed. But we’re not in a hurry .. (1) can we just get new usb A to C cables, plugging into existing charging cubes for charging the new phones .., and (2) will my existing wireless chargers be compatible with the new phones? Again, to be clear, we are NOT concerned about charging speed, rather about safety and compatibility of existing charging equipment with the new phones? Thanks in advance for all info!
