Orange dots on the right corner of my iPhone 8 Plus

I keep seeing an orange dot in the right corner of my phone. Should I be concerned about a hacker accessing my phone’s microphone to listen to my conversations and would a scan of my phone tell me if I have had a breach on my phone? Should I bring my phone to an Apple Store to check the security of it? My phone (8 plus) is up to date.
