The Magnetic Connector on my iPad is not responding/charging my Apple Pencil.

The Magnetic Connector on the right side of iPad pro given for charging Apple Pencil is not responding/charging anything.

Apple Pencil 2 stops charging after a few seconds My Apple Pencil 2 stopped charging from my iPad Air 5th gen suddenly. My Pencil is 9 months old and it suddenly stopped charging with my iPad Air 5th gen bought 15 months before. The Pencil charges on other iPads but on mine after ~40 seconds it stops charging. Is the iPad charging "port" not working? Is it the pencil? Update 1: The only way I manage to get some charge is detaching and attaching again the pencil after the 40 seconds window (every time I do this I get ~1% of charge)

Apple Pencil isn’t working I have a 2nd Gen Apple Pencil, and a 6th Gen iPad Pro (currently on iOS 17.5.1), and today when I tried to write on my iPad with my Apple Pencil, it was unresponsive. I’ve had my iPad and Apple Pencil for close to a year, and I use my iPad and its Pencil close to daily and haven’t ran into any issues until today (except for needing to replace the pen’s tip once). I haven’t used my iPad for a day, and during this time, it was connected to power and my Pencil was also connected. When I connect my Apple Pencil to the side of my iPad via the magnet, it says it is 100% charged. On my Bluetooth settings, it says my Apple Pencil is connected. I’ve tried various things to try and solve the issue, such as: Unscrewing the tip, then screwing it back on Turning my Bluetooth off and on again Going to my Bluetooth settings and pressing Forget This Device for my Apple Pencil, then reconnecting it Turning my iPad off and on again (twice) Replacing the tip Unfortunately, nothing has worked as of yet. Does anybody know what I should do?

Only some iPad Pro models are compatible with Apple Pencil 2nd generation. Not all.
