Watch won’t install upgrade

Trying to do software update to my watch and it keeps saying it can’t at this time. Oh 9.6.2 version

What version do you have now? What series watch? watchOS 9.6.2 is the latest version you can update to:

Apple watch SE 1st Gen will not complete software update Just setting up a new watch SE 1st gen. It successfully paired in family mode with iPhone 14 pro, running ios 16.6. However, like other posts in this forum the latest watch OS ( I think 9.6.1) doesn't successfully install. After the updating and preparing process, which takes about an hour, the watch app just asks again to update to the latest version.
