When I'm writing on a document in the files app, one minute it's okay and the next it switches to the virtual keyboard and won't let me write on the document with the apple pencil 2. It's very frustrating trying to complete a document. How do I make this stop? Scribble mode is unchecked because I want it to have my handwriting. I'm running iOS 17.0 on an ipad pro 6th gen with Apple Pencil 2

Because the version of iPadOS you are running is still in beta, some features and applications may not work correctly and you may experience unexpected behavior. We would encourage you to report what you are experiencing, unexpected behavior or bugs using the Feedback Assistant.
