In the past 4 or 5 months, I have not been able to send pictures to android users. I’ve read everything online and tried everything, I have an iPhone 13 and don’t understand why this is happening. I never had this problem with my old iPhone 6.

I know there must be a simple solution but I cannot figure it out

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

This reply was posted to help another iPhone user with similar issues. It sounds like this could be a problem with your carrier or carrier settings. If you have not already done so, you should check to see if there is an available update for carrier settings.

A text message to a non-iOS user is an SMS. Sending a photo to a non-iOS user is MMS. To accomplish that by the iPhone, you need to have a supported plan from your cellular carrier, and you need to have cellular data turned on. Check with your carrier to ensure that you have a provision for SMS/MMS on your account.

SMS/MMS to a non-iOS device is handled through the carrier. If you continue to have problems, contact your carrier. They may need to fix the provisioning on your device.
