ID email now invalid

I have cancelled my broadband service thus rendering that email address invalid.

Apple still has that address as my log in so I can't log in to CHANGE my ID.

Suggestions?

Windows, Windows 6

Devonrex1, We recommend that you contact Apple Support directly so that they can work with you to find a solution since you're continually being asked to enter your password after you changed your Apple ID. You can reach them by clicking here: Apple Support or calling the most local number in your region: Contact Apple for support and service. Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. Cheers!

Hi there Devonrex1,

As long as you have access to the new email address you want to use with your Apple ID, you should be able to change it even if you no longer have access to the old email address associated with your broadband service.

Once you have access to the email address you want to use with your Apple ID, follow the 'How to change your Apple ID to a different email address' section here: Change your Apple ID

If something else is happening when you try to change your Apple ID, please provide more details so that we can continue to assist.

Cheers!

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I opened a new iCloud account (?) with a new ID and password. All my photos, calendar etc are there just as before.

What I really need to get rid of is this annoying pop-up that appears once every minute or two, no matter what I may be working on, telling me to “Enter your password to continue using iCloud”. This displays my old non functioning ID so no password will open it. It’s no exaggeration when I say once every minute or two! I’m continually clicking Cancel to get rid of the **** thing.

What do you think?

And thanks again.
