Why did my order not go through but they took money from my account
An amount was taken from my card twice but the order did not go through on the merchants side.

The order not going through is an issue between the merchant and the payment method/bank card you used. Apple Pay is just an extremely secure method of transmitting the transaction data between the merchant and bank.
