I want tore read Peppermint murders book and it opens at the end instead of first page. I have no direct way on the page to get back to page 1.

Tap the icon at the bottom right of the screen. You may have to tap on the screen for it to appear. Tap "Contents". Then, select where in the book you want to start. You can go all the way back to the cover or the table of contents or the first chapter, whatever works for you.
