My MacBook and keyboard froze. Can’t shut it down. What should I do?

Keyboard & trackpad froze I have a Macbook Air M2 (2022) & OS - Ventura 13.2.1 (22D49). Whenever I shut my laptop screen or the laptop wakes up from sleep, the keyboard & trackpad stop working. I have to force shut the laptop & restart it. The keyboard backlight also shuts off. It's a very weird problem and I cant seem to find any solution to it.

Press and hold the power button until the screen goes totally black ... about 10 seconds.
