Unidentified software update message

An occasional software update message appears with no identification. I am a little wary of installing this until I know what it is... does this seem legitimate? Appears on MacBook Air Ventura 13.4.1

What do I do with a "required managed update"? I keep receiving a notification on the top right corner of my iMac. I checked to see if it is a "software update" but it seems It is not. Here is the notification in it's entirety: Required Managed Update An update is scheduled to automatically install tonight. This update requires at least 50% battery or connection to a power source. Your computer will restart to perform the update, no deferrals remaining. The update did not install the evening that it appeared, and has not automatically installed yet some days later. I thought it may be a scam, but have not been affected by it. I've also run Malwarebytes and no issues. I keep getting the notification periodically, usually when I sign in. impossible to remove rapid security update on osx ventura 13.4.1 (c) message returned is Failed to locate required items for Rapid Security Response removal. Try again or contact Apple Support for assistance.

MacOS update I’ve noticed a breach in my network, and while checking, macOS automatically downloaded and installed an update (Ventura 13.4) on my macbook. Only a restart finishes this update. Given this, I have a few questions: how can I know this update is genuinely? I have two profiles on my MacBook, a normal user and an admin user. I was logged on with the normal user. Is it normal that the update bypassed the admin approval? can I revert this update? I’ve postponed it, and shutdown my macbook. Furthermore, I’ve disabled automatic updates and installation of it from now on. I prefer to update manually. Thank you for your help! OS.

Nothing incorrect on checking what has already been suggested in above posting.

Perhaps if you follow along from another similar question where the user had a similar question may satisfy your concern.

I'd cancel that window then to verify if it's legit, go to System Settings > General > Software Update.

If (from there) it shows there is an update, you can then be sure it is legit.

Thanks - yes, that's what I did. Update is due so assume that's what it is.
