I cancelled migration after 4 hours. where I can find the files migrated?

I cancelled windows to macbook air migration after 4 hours as the estimated no of hours to finish is 17 hours. I only tried to copy files from my desktop but i can't find them.

You can use your Mac the way it is, and perform a migration later, when you can forget about it for at least 24 hours. Migration Assistant will need to create a new User Account with a different name than the one you're using now, but you can fix that later.

Some questions that may help us estimate how long a typical migration might take:


    • On your Windows computer, can you determine how much of your hard disk is occupied with data?
    • How are you migrating? Via WiFi? Ethernet cable?
    • What Windows OS are you migrating from?
    • How long did you think migration would take when you started it?


As a general rule, it's never a good idea to interrupt Migration Assistant.
