Report horrific ad for Happy Hospital ASMR

Playing a game called Woodoku and there is no way to block ads. That’s annoying but now there is a horrible gross disgusting stomach turning ad for something called Happy Hospital ASMR game. It pops up without warning showing scenes of worms, bugs and other stuff coming out of a person and being squeezed and popping out. It actually makes me sick.

how can I stop this ad?

Yes EXTREMELY DISGUSTING!!! I’ve suffered from Trypophobia all my life (60 years) and had it under control. Was able to face things head on at my pace. It was under control. Couldn’t sleep one night and started playing my Lily’s Garden game. In the dark, in the middle of the night, this foot, this disgusting foot in 3D form, pops up in my face. Freaked me out. I tried to stop it and a stomach appeared. Tapped on this little triangle(!) at the bottom of the page and it gave me the opportunity to opt out. I thought it fixed the problem because two weeks went by and no ad UNTIL yesterday. I got the back of a thigh, a hand, and a face. I can’t unsee that. I have been playing my game for some time and made a lot of progress but I can no longer play it because of fear of seeing this again. Not only is it nauseating, it triggered my Trypophobia and has my skin itching like crazy. Why in the world would they put something like that out there. They don’t know who might receive it or their health conditions. My anxiety level is at 100% but with prayer I’ll be alright…prayerfully 🙏🏾 for me and others like me who may have seen this mess also.

Yes, those ads are disgusting. A game I played showed them for a while. I would simply put the phone down and look away for 30 seconds. I suspect the ads weren't very successful as they stopped pretty quickly.

I agree with Bob that you should contact the app developer. They probably contract with a company to serve the ads and there may not be much they can do about it but, if enough people complain that they will stop playing the game, that might cause them to try.

I too suffer from Trypophobia, and it has been under control, but when that game ad popped, I scream, and it's hard. The image is in my mind. What makes it so bad, you can not stop, I stopped playing my game for awhile, and it was alright for awhile, and tonight the ad pops up again.

Complain to the developer of the game. Post reviews on the App Store.

I faced similar problem. Forcefully making the player to watch is an ethical violation.

Well, it might be if you were actually being forced to watch it. You are not. Put the phone down until the ad finishes. Close your eyes.

And, tell the app developer how awful you think it is and that's why you're going to stop playing their game.

My first thought would be to stop playing the game. You could try complaining to the makers/providers of the game.

I faced similar problem. Forcefully making the player to watch is an ethical violation. I followed two ways and got rid of that. First I personalized by ads. There is an option in every app settings either at the bottom

or any side. By choosing the required options as preferred ads or by unselecting the AppLoving advertisement option solved the problem. On top of it I almost raised four requests repeatedly to

elikinate that ASMR- Hospital app displaying or at least an option to close the app when it is displayed. I got this add in angry birds2 option. If we selected the video and show that we are sad or broken in the ad, it will not work. On purpose these ads will be displayed very often. So changing the personalized ad and raising ticket solved the problem. Hope this may help someone.
