Reload (Command R) on an external Apple keyboard won't update a web page in the Chrome browser on an iPad 10th generation ios 16.4.1. This function works with Safari. Is there a fix?

The iPad 10th generation ios 16.4.1 needed a Chrome update and reestablishing my Google account on a new device. The external Apple keyboard now will reload and update a Chrome web page. Hope this helps anyone facing the same issue. Charlie
