Volume Adjust on Album/Song Info doesn't seem to be doing anything

Much of my library is fine volume-wise except for 1 Album in particular: The Zelda Twilight Princess Soundtrack, it's very quiet

Trying to use the Volume Adjust on it doesn't do anything. Testing with my watch's decibel meter and my speakers at the same setting shows that the actual volume doesn't change at all before and after.

A lot of my library seems to be playing around 44dB (its late right now) but the soundtrack seems to be playing at 40dB maximum before and after using volume adjust and that equalizer toggle below it

The soundtrack is encoded in ALAC. iTunes is V12.12.9.4.

Should I put the files into something like Audacity and try to change it there or is there something I'm not doing right in iTunes

Volume adjust and EQ settings don't appear to work when using AirPlay. If that isn't it then yes, it is probably worth trying to normalise the tracks with Audacity. Backup the originals before you start.
