Adding own music to a project in Final cut on iPad

I’m trying to do the same thing. I don’t see how I can import my own songs - either from my files or from Apple Music into the Final Cut for iPad. I used to have a large desktop iMac, but it was old and I transitioned to the large iPad so I could use it as my main computer. I thought I could get away with just iMovie, but missed Final Cut so I subscribed for the app. But I only want to use my own songs and can’t seem to import them. Hmm?? I see nobody responded to this question.

Anyone out there have advice??
