Do I have to wait for my, cancelled, AppleTV subscription to expire before I may remove the app from my AppleTV 4k units?

AppleTV+ constantly updates; that causes buffering problems on my other Streaming apps on my AppleTV 4k units.

I fine NO WAY TO REMOVE the AppleTV+ app from my AppleTV 4k devices. Do I have to wait for the AppleTV+ app to expire before it may be removed?

Thanks 'MacRevisited' for sticking with this discussion! Perhaps my

age-78 brain missed the point along the way, but I don't remember a

actual 'AppleTV' app on my Streaming Units before Subscribing to 'AppleTV+'.

Due to recent buffering, I verified

my ISP's NID with their Tech Support, Tested all ethernet cables

with my Klein VDV Scout Pro 2, swapped cables between Router &

Receiver Ports, verified my 50Mbps

ISP-Service & Cabled Router Ports.

I've OffLoaded Paramount+ and

Prime Video every day. At least my

'Single app & Single AppleTV unit

use 'one at a time' recent habit seems to drastically reduce the

buffering. I've reexamined my four

4K units Settings to Clean Up any

activity likely to affect bandwidth.

So my 4k units are less likely to

affect Bandwidth; I got 'skinny' on

Apple Settings. If buffering continues I'll boost Bandwidth to see what happens.

Thanks for sticking with this Old Fart

on this concern! ChiiDale
