I am not able to use split screen on my MacBook. I open the first page and hover over the top left to tile window to the left. Then I am supposed to open another window on the right, but the screen says no window available. Doesn't make sense.

Has the user ( you ) explored the Apple Support Document in Top Left of this screen ?
Perhaps and it does occur , it was overlooked
