Disabling time sensitive notifications for specific calendars

I'm on iOS 16.6 and I have several work calendars that I'm subscribed to on my phone. While it's important that I have access to check and use these calendars I don't need to have them displayed in the app all the time.

The calendar app lets me untick/uncheck the subscribed calendars I don't want to see, and that works well for the most part - it removes the all the events for that subscribed calendar from the app (though sometimes unchecked calendars get re-checked and I don't know why)

The issue I have though is that even when a subscribed calendar is uncheked, I still get Time-Sensitive notifications for its events. For example, if there is a meeting at a location in the city on one of these work calendars, and I have that calendar unchecked in the app, I will still get the "TIME SENSITIVE" notification telling me it will take X amount of time to travel to the event location.

This is really confusing and frustrating because I will usually check my calendar in the morning to find out what's ahead for me in the day, and then get panicked by a notification saying I have an upcoming meeting I was not expecting, and then that meeting does not appear in my calendar (as I have that particular subscribed calendar unchecked)

Is there anything that can be done about this? The Time-Sensitive notifications are a good feature but it's not helpful to receive these notifications for events from calendars I do not have active in the calendar app. Unsubscribing from these calendars would not be a solution as I do need to have access them to them ad-hoc, so simply toggling between viewing them through the check/uncheck function enables this.

Thank you for the advice. This seems to be a blanket disabling of the feature. I was hoping to find a way to disable it for the calendars I don’t have active in the app
